To all WAHA members: For as long as any of us can remember, Don Kohlman has fielded countless telephone calls with questions over a wide range of subjects for WAHA. With his passing, there is going to be an information gap and many of you will be wondering just who the “go-to guy” is going to be. In short, WAHA is going to share the tasks amongst its Board Members. We would ask that you to go to "WAHA Contacts" (on the left menu) and determine the best person to speak with about your question. If all else fails, please call John Hack, the WAHA Secretary at 218-391-2301 or jhack@sahaice.org. He will direct you to the right person, or will be able to find an answer for you. The number listed for him is his cell phone, so you should be able to reach him, or leave a message at any time. Any USA Hockey/WAHA team playing a WIAA or other National High School Federation team must have those games sanctioned by WAHA, and be played with the following considerations:
Please request the approval and sanction by e-mail to John Hack at jhack@sahaice.org, for each game. Questions can be directed to John Hack at (218) 391-2301. We are also looking for associations to have their PeeWee, Bantam, Midget, or High School programs to donate 1 hr. of ice time to have their able bodied team play our sled team. We will bring the equipment for your team to play in the sleds and compete. This a great team building event and an opportunity for your kids to find out for 1 hour, what it is like to be disabled for 1 hour! WAHA Summer Hockey Policy |
